Keep in the refrigerator (+4°C ~ +8°C) Blood RNA Extraction Kit  AviRex™ Blood RNA is designed for the silica spin-based isolation of total intracellular RNA from up to 200 μl of fresh or frozen whole blood treated with common anticoagulants like heparin, EDTA, or acid-citrate-dextrose. The streamlined procedure effectively removes contaminants and enzyme inhibitors, ensuring fast, convenient, and reliable isolation of total RNA.

Cell lysis, RNase inactivation, and DNA removal are accomplished using a phenol-based solution. Following the separation of the RNA-containing fraction and the addition of an RNA enhancer, the lysate is applied to a spin column. This step effectively washes away cellular debris and contaminants such as hemoglobin, leaving behind high-quality RNA, which is then eluted in DEPC-treated water.

Plant RNA Extraction Kit

The AviRex™ Plant RNA offers a convenient spin column-based method for isolating total RNA from various plant samples. Before initiating the process, samples should be thoroughly homogenized in the provided lysis buffer. The kit effectively removes contaminants, including polysaccharides and phenolic compounds, ensuring high-quality RNA extraction.

Purified RNA obtained using AviRex™ Plant RNA is suitable for a wide range of downstream applications, including RT-PCR, Northern blot analysis, differential display, and poly A+ RNA selection.
