AviRex™ Blood RNA
Cell lysis, RNase inactivation, and DNA removal are accomplished using a phenol-based solution. Following the separation of the RNA-containing fraction and the addition of an RNA enhancer, the lysate is applied to a spin column.
This step effectively washes away cellular debris and contaminants such as hemoglobin, leaving behind high-quality RNA, which is then eluted in DEPC-treated water.

Before initiating the process, samples should be thoroughly homogenized in the provided lysis buffer. The kit effectively removes contaminants, including polysaccharides and phenolic compounds, ensuring high-quality RNA extraction.
Purified RNA obtained using AviRex™ Plant RNA is suitable for a wide range of downstream applications, including RT-PCR, Northern blot analysis, differential display, and poly A+ RNA selection.
